Q: How does Inventor value its intellectual properties?

A: Inventor first defines the range of scope of an intellectual property (IP) asset, then initially applies three (3) methodological valuation metrics to determine the intellectual property's value: 1) Income method, 2) Market method, 3) Cost method. Based upon the range and scope of the IP asset, an understanding of the economy at large, the IP's field of endeavor, a long-felt need for the implementation and practice of the IP, and a review of a particular business sector's historical and recent performance in terms of, among other critical metrics, a trend analysis of supply and demand, Inventor initially determines a valuation of an IP asset. As a greater balance of Inventor's IP assets are notably involved with solving and/or mitigating problems pertaining to complex social issues, Inventor as well reviews the state of such social issues and through a process of intuitive understanding of how an IP asset addresses such social issues, a further data point of determination of valuation is integrated into the aforementioned three (3) methodological valuation metrics to determine an IP asset's valuation. In light of Inventor's integration of the application of three (3) methodological valuation metrics as quantitative data, and a review of how the IP asset addresses a social issue as qualitative data, a final valuation of an IP asset is determined.

Q: What industries are Inventor's IP assets direct toward?

A: Inventor recognizes that the nature of an IP asset provides for its claims to be practiced by an entity within its field of endeavor. Given the nature of an IP asset and the ability of a party outside of the field of the IP's endeavor, or 'industry', to which the IP is most closely related, and such party's desire to purchase the IP asset for the purpose of its practice and commercial exploitation by purchasing it then re-marketing or forming licensing agreements with entities that are within the IP's industry; Inventor provides its IP assets to an expansive set of prospective suitors for the purpose of securing a contract with a suitor that would, for the purpose of practice and commercial exploitation, purchase the IP asset and practice its claims so its social issue may be addressed. Effectually, Inventor realizes that while a prospective purchase of an IP asset may be within the industry to which the IP's claims are practiced, a party within another industry may purchase and hold the IP asset and its rights and exploit its technology as they see fit. For reasons such as these, Inventor makes its IP assets available for purchase to a broad spectrum of potential purchasers.

Q: Does Inventor sell and/or license its IP assets?

A: Inventor sells and licenses its IP assets. When inquiring about Inventor’s IP, please review its pricing, inclusive of taxation schedules and transfer and recordation and legal fees prior to submitting an acquisition inquiry. Regarding licensing, and with an effort offer potential suitors of Inventor's IP viable entry points in order to practice and exploit the  technology in its IP, and in an effort to bring Inventor’s IP to market and be practiced for the social problem it addresses, a licensing agreement may be reviewed by Inventor from a party submitting an inquiry about licensing Inventor's IP. When submitting an IP inquiry, a party with interest in a licensing agreement should submit their licensing agreement and/or indicated such a licensing agreement will be sought and submitted at a later date by the submitting party. However, no binding agreement is understood as to be secured by virtue of a party submitting such licensing agreement interest in their inquiry and Inventor is not obligated to review and respond to such an inquiry. And, all parties making their own licensing inquiries are understood to make such inquiries voluntarily.
